Flawlessly Deployed

I was requested to make a beer sleeve that took into consideration of the name, a nod to a review left by a customer who pointed out the Ivy at the Brewery was ‘Flawlessly deployed’, with this I developed a simple summery character, build from Ivy and who only wears sunglasses and flip-flops. With a simple Keg in the background and a hand clasped around another Craft beer made by Harrogate.

The client requested a beer sleeve that reflected both the product’s name and a memorable customer review describing the ivy at the brewery as “flawlessly deployed.” This sparked the idea for a laid-back, summery character made entirely of ivy, wearing nothing but sunglasses and flip-flops. I kept the scene simple, placing the character in front of a keg, holding a craft beer from Harrogate, letting the illustration capture the relaxed, playful spirit of the beer.
